	This sfwf file was created because the previous version (sfwf_20031208.ieeer8)
	was incorrectly based on the /HECHT/POLES/PHC2_SALT.nc dataset instead
	of the /HECHT/POLES/PHC2_salx.nc dataset.

	This file contains two 100x116x12 records.  The first is monthly
	SSS from mss:/HECHT/POLES/PHC2_salx.nc interpolated to the
	gx3v5 grid (using /cgd/oce/yeager/POP_GRIDS/Initial_Conditions/mk_sfwf_data.csh)

	The second record is a straight copy of the flxio(100,116,12) record from the
	file sfwf_20031208.ieeer8.  (Which is a remapping of the second 'flxio' record from
 	/fs/cgd/csm/inputdata/ocn/pop/gx3v4/forcing/sfwf_20021217.ieeer8
	onto gx3v5 using /wp/cgd/yeager/SCRIP/remappings/map_gx3v4_to_gx3v5_conserv.nc).

Subject: new gx3v5 sfwf data set


    Hi Nancy,

  Steve recreated the sfwf data set for the gx3v5 resolution ocean
 model. I have compared annual-mean salinity and ice-ocean freshwater
 flux fields from the new data file with those of the gx3v4 and gx1v3
 and have concluded that they are correct.

  The files are on dataproc. The names are
