The "polzin/prelim" directory contains scripts for interpolating
the "H" and "U" fields used in the polzin/melet tidal mixing formulation.
This was a preliminary attempt to interpolate the fields to the
gx1v6 grid. 

The lat/lon H and U fields are provided by Steve Jayne,
in the energy_rewrite.nc file, on a lat/lon grid.

The "jayne" directory contains an ncl script and supporting
files used to interpolate the lat/lon gridded variables to
the CESM gx1v6 grid.  The ncl script is based upon the 
script developed by Dave Ullman to interpolate the Schmittner/
Egbert diurnal & semidiurnal lunar and solar tidal fluxes
to the gx1v6 grid.
